Fort Bragg trip home

Wake up early and clean some carbs

Anup wrapping his entire 103 in saran wrap for the car ride home.

Steve has the coolest mag wheels ever.

Running no air fliter on a 24mm carb will get you some really nice floatbowl chunks.

Oh, well hello there handsome!
Amazing soundtrack for our weekend

1 whole Peugeot 103 wrapped in saran wrap ready for the trunk.

one good recipe for speed and destruction

No skimping on the wheel builds

Mike Bryant pulled up on his new Whizzer and chatted a bunch. Only moped we encountered. Close enough. Way to go MIKE!

First sign of trouble. Losing power slowly and intermittantly. Plug check reveals horrible scary deposits and all bad colors. Oh well keep going.

Horrible sounds, and no power. Nate pushed his bike up a mountain a few clicks before pulling this clutch and parts outta his tranny. He just happened to bring one extra. Back on the road again.

Steve and I investigate our impending doom plugs.

Road Road Road

Fun Fun Fun

Rip Rip Rip

We stopped in ST. Helena for gas. Troy powered by good stuff, me powdered by Redbull.

This guy hooked up Steve and I when both our bikes failed 30 miles form home. He gave us a ride to a nearby gas station. Details on our ruined motors next post.

Two really nice looking bikes that dont work.

Troy and Nate leave us in the town of Winters to finish the mission home.

Two outta five riders finishing off our long ride.

Steve looking about as happy as possible.

Our number one savior. Ryan. He has picked up more stranded moped homies than you would ever imagine.

Happy and bummed. We made it home one way or another. Fun picks next post of motor fails.

Wow what an exciting trip.
The guy who picked you up looks like Jeff Bridges from the Big Lebowski!:)
